ASHTON, Robin Gerald (Bob)
January 25, 1931 - July 8, 2016

Bob was born in Bridlington, Yorkshire, U.K. and came to Vancouver in 1957. He passed away peacefully at Buchanan Lodge, New Westminster and leaves behind his daughter Heather; two sons David and Craig; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He had a great love of family. Bob was a kind, generous person with a quick wit and liked to entertain or help people. Bob's interests were soccer, music, golfing, darts, dancing and drawing. Bob served ten years in the British Royal Navy and worked mostly at Duecks in Vancouver.

There will be a Private Memorial. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated. Thanks to the staff of both Victoria Heights and Buchanan Lodge for their loving care.
