Condolence: Although I didn't know Brian very well as I have not been with Cisco for very long, I always enjoyed chatting with him and appreciating the rapport he had with others. He knew I was a registered nurse, so when he fell ill again he did send me a couple of notes to get my takes on his chosen treatment path. It was an honour to be included (albeit very briefly and at a high level) in that discussion. I had just as much respect for him and his work and know that he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Condolence: I met Brian when he was at Digital. We've been in touch on and off for the last 20 years. Brian is one of those rarest of individuals. As a person, he's caring, honest and trustworthy. At work, he was always a professional and hard working. I've always enjoyed working with Brian and I'm sure I'm not the only one. He'll be sorely missed. May God embraced you into His arms.

Condolence: Boothe Family - As conveyed by many, I too am the benefactor in having known Brian. Being privileged to have worked with him on the same team at Cisco, I saw Brian work with purpose, care and utmost respect to others everyday. As Brian learned of his affliction with cancer, only bravery resonated for me in how he reasoned the situation…and was truly an inspiration. The integrity, always positive attitude and above all dignity by which Brian dealt with Cancer never ceased to amaze me – we had a few deep conversations where he demonstrated such resolve….I will never forget it. Too, I learned how much family meant to him and he was no doubt comforted by having all of you close .. and may that carry you forward.

Condolence: I was fortunate to work with Brian for nine years within Cisco’s Partner Organization. He always willing to help grow one of my partner’s Cisco practice in Vancouver even when he did not have a quota aligned to him. I did not know him personally but his work professionalism is an example of what type of man he was. I am sure he was even a better husband, father, and friend. I wish strength to the Boothe family as they go through this tough time and for them to know Brian will be missed by his family at Cisco.

Condolence: Working side by side with Brian for the last 10 years, I will so miss his camaraderie and friendship. His reputation at Cisco and with partners was always one of trust, integrity, professionalism and diplomacy. His work ethic was second to none and he was always true to his word. I always admired how he the right words to smooth out any tough business situation and how he always made every partner know he really was their advocate. I know it’s been very tough on everyone in the Boothe family over the last couple of years and Brian spoke often about how wonderful his family was throughout his ordeal. I will especially miss our great conversations, his openness and easy going nature.

Condolence: I am very grateful to have met Brian 3 years ago – a brief conversation was all it took for me to realize how genuinely caring he was. Brian would often pick up the phone just to see how I was doing as the new guy on the team. He offered encouragement and great advice, and assured me that we were having fun….or at least would be at some point. Brian’s character shone through as he fought his battle with strength, grace, and dignity…..a real inspiration and true gentleman. I learned a lot more from Brian than just how to survive at Cisco. I will think of him often. My condolences to the Boothe family, Brian beamed with pride and love every time he spoke of you. He will be missed every day.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Boothe family. I first had the pleasure of meeting Brian many years ago when we worked for Toshiba. We reconnected at Cisco and had many discussions about partners and many laughs. Brian was one of the first to reach out to me when I lost my sister to cancer even though he was in his own battle. Truly one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of working with and knowing. I know how hard he fought this battle and my heart breaks for his family and friends. I truly hope you had the time with him to feel some sense of closure. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this very tough time. God Bless.
