David Jr. (Dave) Price October 15, 1933 - October 7, 2016 David passed away peacefully with his family present just few days before his 83 rd Birthday. He is survived by his wife, Glenda of 57 years; brother, George (Elsie); daughter, Pam Chace (Kevin) and sons, Michael and Stephen. Grandchildren - Kyle, Carlyn and Morgann. He was predeceased by his parents Dave Sr. and Winifred. Dave was born in Liverpool, England and he immigrated to Canada in 1957 after serving two years in the Royal Air Force. After working his way across Canada, Dave eventually settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he and Glenda started their family. Dave and his young family finally settled in Port Moody, BC in 1969, where he resided until his passing.

Dave graduated in engineering drafting (Manchester, England), eventually working for CP Rail in Fire Insurance Liability in Winnipeg. Subsequently he moved to BC, and eventually owned his own company - Systematic Fire Control. Dave was past president of the Greater Vancouver Fire Protection Association and long-term member of the SFPE - BC Chapter. Dave loved his family unconditionally. He was an avid golfer, soccer enthusiast, (Everton forever), music lover and enjoyed his life to the fullest!

A celebration of his life will take place sometime in November. Notices will go out to friends and family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Salvation Army (salvationarmy.ca) or Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation (erhf.ca)
