Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gertrude Marshall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Betty (McLellan) Anderson

Dear Chuck, Caroline and Family, My mother Abbie McLellan was a great friend of Trudy's when she lived in Spring Garden Terrace in Halifax. They visited back and forth frequently and kept in touch daily. They were "kindred spirits" and shared many wonderful evenings together. My mother missed her greatly when Trudy moved out West. My mother loved Trudy's calls from the West and they continued to be in contact until my mother died at age 96, six years ago. They both found things to chat about despite the distance between them. My mother considered Trudy a very close friend and would light up when she talked about her. I met Trudy on several occasions when she visited my mother and found her to be a lovely gentle "lady" and was so happy my mother had her as a friend. My sincere sympathy to you all. Betty Anderson
