Karen Au

It is our true loss of a loving family member - Albert was a talented man with many great achievements. He will be missed dearly.

Being a teacher then a principal of primary school for 30+ years in Hong Kong, he had touched many lives and educated them to become important members of the society. He himself had a great passion in classical music and had led an Orchestra in his school. He also played table tennis well and he had won a trophy in the principal’s tournament.

He is also remembered by us for his passion for life. He enjoyed his life and lived every day with peace and happiness. He had travelled the world to many places including UK, US, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, China... just a few to name with.

Perhaps because of his love for food he was also a great chef and he had done many amazing home cooking. You may not believe it but Albert was also a true domestic person who had excellent skills for house chores. He could iron the neatest shirt or cut and plate a steamed chicken Chinese style in restaurant quality easily.

Even in Albert’s last months when he was in the hospital, he was full of hope and positive energy. He gave us a call from time to time to tell us he was getting better and ready for home soon. He hanged in there until the very end.

It was a blessing that Albert left in peace with family, friends and pastor around. May God take Albert in his hands and let him rest in peace.

Love from,
Karen, Ray, Ashley and Hugh.
