Condolences

Condolence From: Victor Porter
Condolence: I have had the good fortune of knowing and working with Angelo for the last 20 years, together we imagined, planed, and implemented a variety of projects in Canada and abroad. Beyond his intelligence, compassion, even mind, and kindness, I will remember Angelo for his sense of humor and ability to enjoy life.We laugh until tears come out of our eyes, we laugh at ourselves and the world surrounding us, and in the mist of our laughter I saw Angelo always striving through his work, to make this a better world for everyone. Angelo made me a better person, and will be ever grateful for this. My love and prayers for Catherine and Angelo's extended family.

Condolence: I had the great pleasure to get to know Angelo and work together when he coordinated the Connecting Fathers Program at MOSAIC. He was an extraordinarily thoughtful person professionally. Likewise, he was perhaps the most positive person I have encountered regarding making a difference in people's lives. He will most certainly be missed for the humanity he brought to the relationships he made with people.

Condolence: I met you on the 97b bus many years ago coming from downtown after visiting my young son at his mum's apartment. We got chatting and you told me about the "Fathers Rights" organisation you were part of back then and gave me some amazing advice about getting to see my son more, which eventually helped me to have him with me at the weekends like any other father, regardless of my being in a wheelchair. I've never ever forgotten what you did for my son and I, for that alone I admired you. But our friendship only started there, on that 97b bus. Over the years many trips were had for coffee and a quick drool at all the toys at the Apple Store, and many amazing discussions on anything from the aforementioned Apple toys, to politics, belief structures, space, colonisation and beyond! Then we collaborated on a fantastic podcast of discussion and music, and more. This is just a small item that others can enjoy of the many many things you did, and I am so proud to have been part of. All the things you achieved while you strove to help others is nothing short monumental. You touched so many people with your kindness that you will never be forgotten by anyone ever. You were my friend, my hero and my brother and I love you dearly Angelo. I miss you big time mate, I still can't believe you're gone. You will forever live in my heart and everything I do. Love you always Angelo Bobs

Condolence: Dear Angelo, Thanks for being such an amazing tutor. During the placement, apart from social work skills, you also helped me grow spiritually and mentally. After the placement, you continued to support me through e-mail updates. Thank for so much for everything you have done. You are truly the best teacher in my life (Catherine as well, of course). You will be in my heart forever. Forever grateful. Love, Wendy

Condolence: Angelo was the type of man that always showed compassion and caring for others. His calm and happy demeanour invited you to engage with him in interesting conversations. I will always remember our lunches together where we challenged one another in dialogue over a variety of issues. He was a tireless champion of children and community who will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace my dear friend. You may be gone but never forgotten. That is the mark of a life well lived.
