Obituary for Bonnie Leona Rife
Bonnie passed away in the presence of her family at age 68 at Royal Columbian Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband William and daughter Nadine. She is also survived by her brothers Marcel (Mavis) St Louis, Peter St Louis, and sister Jayne Gangloff as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Leona Hammond.
Bonnie was a graduate of the Royal Columbian Hospital School of Nursing in 1973. Her nursing career included work in renal dialysis, residential care and family practice.
Prayers will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Coquitlam on Monday, December 9 at 7:45 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Robinson Cemetery in Coquitlam.
The family wishes to thank the staff at both Wards 2 North and 6 North at Royal Columbian for their exemplary care of Bonnie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation.
