On Thursday, July 26th, 2018, Bonny Gerson passed away at Burnaby Hospital at the age of 60. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Bonny was born on December 9th, 1957 in Kitimat, British Columbia. She is predeceased by her father, Johannes and her brother, Gordon.
In 1978, Bonny received her diploma in nuclear medicine and radiopharmacy from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She worked for hospitals throughout the lower mainland and did research at Ottawa Civic Hospital.
Bonny was a kind and adventurous spirit who loved to paint, travel and cycle. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, sewing crafts and being with her family and friends. Bonny will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Brian, and her three daughters, Christine, Dayna and Emily, and her mother Inge, and her many friends and extended family.
The family would like to thank the palliative care staff and nurses at Burnaby General Hospital for their excellent care and support.
