Obituary for Borka Kasic
Borka je rođena 1934 godine u malom selu Košćani kod Donjeg Vakufa od oca Tode Ilića i majke Dragije Milić.
Tu je provela djetinjstvo sa roditeljima i sestrom Novkom, ali nažalost njen otac je
preminuo jako mlad, te majka Dragija preudajom u selo Kopčić zasniva novu familiju sa Ilijom Lugonjom iz koje Borka dobija brata Milana.
Poslije nekoliko godina upoznaje Todora, svog budućeg muža, udaje se i iz tog braka dobija Jovana, Srđana, Milorada i Vesnu i svoj život nastavlja u Bugojnu.
Rat i ratne nedaće ih vode kroz mnoga iskušenja da bi svoj životni vijek završili u Kanadi, a Borka nas napušta 3 maja 2023.

Borka was born in 1934 in the small town of Košćani, Donji Vakuf to father Tode Ilić and mother Dragija Milić. She spent her childhood in Košćani with her parents and sister Novka, however she unfortunately lost her father at a very young age and her mother re-married to Ilija Lugonja in Kopčić where her younger brother, Milan, was later born.
A few years later, Borka met Todor, her future husband, married him and welcomed four children, Jovan, Srđan, Milorad and Vesna in Bugojno where they lived for many years.
War, and the circumstances of war led them through many experiences, finally settling in Canada, where they spent the remainder of their life together with family until her passing on May 3, 2023.
