Obituary for Brenda Gale Brewer

Brewer, Brenda Gale

Dec 30, 1961 Montgomery Alabama passed away at home on Aug 29, 2020 at the age of 58

Survived by her daughter Christa Tollman of Wheeling WV, Her 3 Grandchildren, Hayley Frye Braden Frye and Avery Frye, and her sister Sherry Fatkin of Aurora Colorado.

Brenda worked for Canada Post, she was part of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers as a shop steward and assisted with WBC Claims and loved her job. Brenda made friends with many of her customers, often taking time for a short visit with those who lived alone and weren't able to go out. She became an advocate within her job helping those in need by providing a voice and working tirelessly to pursue what was right. She was not only an advocate for people, but for animals as well. Her dogs were always referred to as her fur babies and many of them were rescue dogs. She took in senior dogs to care for them until the end and provide them a loving home even if short lived.

Brenda’s positive outlook on life affected all those around her. Her love of music was always apparent whenever in her car or at home as she would turn it up loud and dance or sing without caring what anyone thought. Her smile would light up the room and her laugh was infectious. Her ability to always know exactly what to say and what advice to give was remarkable. Her kindness and willingness to help those around her will be her legacy.

Her light will continue to shine on within those whose lives she touched. She will forever be missed and will always be loved.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on October 2nd Friday at St, Clares of Assisi Parish Hall 2888 Delahaye Drive Coquitlam B.C.
