It is with profound sadness that we announce that Catherine passed away peacefully and without pain on Saturday Dec 19 2020 at the Royal Columbian hospital in New Westminster BC after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her father Chris, Catherine is survived by her loving husband Steven Twidale of 30 years, mother Cecelia, brothers Robert and David, sister Marlene, stepdaughter Jessica Hayes, husband Jason Hayes and grandchildren Carter, Madison and Mackenzie of Woodbridge Ontario.
Catherine was born in Camrose, Alberta and had the great fortune to live in Calgary, Toronto, New York and Vancouver through her career in the telecommunications industry.
Catherine’s passion included international travel, camping cooking, gardening, golfing, skiing, crafts, sewing, collecting nutcrackers, her grandchildren, and time at the cottage in Haliburton Ontario.
She was a friend to so many, a loving wife and partner, daughter, sister, stepmother, grandmother, and travel friend to many that she met along the way.
There will be a celebration of life to be held at a later date in Camrose, Alberta.
