Obituary for Christopher James Coogan
Christopher James Coogan, 44, Born October 16, 1974 in Burnaby, BC, passed away May 9, 2019 in Coquitlam, BC.
Christopher is survived by his loving parents Jim and Kathy Coogan, brother Darren (Kim), sisters Caroline (Darryl) and Fionna (Alex) and nieces and nephews Kaitlyn, Quinn, Sam, Bennett, Ciara, Owen and Liam and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, Ireland and England.
Christopher had many hobbies and interests such as wood working, music and fitness. He would spend hours reading about world history and was recently learning to speak Spanish. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was so excited when he got to see them play. He loved animals and had a kind nature for them and our environment. He was always engaging and happy to play with his niece and nephews and would often attend sporting events and school performances the kids were in.
A memorial service will be held May 23, 2019 at 11:30 am at All Saints Parish located at: 821 Fairfax St, Coquitlam BC V3J 5K7 with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the SPCA.
