Obituary for Colleen Shirley Harris (Armstrong)
Passed away suddenly at home in Coquitlam on November 10, 2023 at the age of 92 years. Born in Rossland, BC March 16, 1931. Predeceased by her parents Robert A. Armstrong and Lucille E. Armstrong (nee Leary), her husband Murray Ronald Harris and her brother Robert (Bob) E. Armstrong. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her 3 children Don (John) Cora, Ron, and Charmaine (Char) Hannu; granddaughter Tammy (Jess); great grandchildren Lexus (Lexy), Sierra and Alicia.
Colleen was coached and trained as a singer and actor. The sound of her voice will be greatly remembered by those who had the pleasure of hearing her sing. She also enjoyed watching wildlife and reading.
Special thanks to the staff at Burquitlam Funeral Home, Pastor Layton Chmelyk and the pallbearers who helped carry Colleen to her final resting place at Port Coquitlam Cemetery.
