It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Cynthia Marie O’Neill (nee Childs), wife of Patrick J. O’Neill. Cindy lost her brave and courageous battle with cancer and passed away on June 25, 2023 at Crossroads Hospice (Port Moody, BC) in the presence of her loving family.
Cindy was born on November 15th, 1954 in Fredericton, New Brunswick to the late Robert Vincent Childs (deceased) and Cindy is survived by her mother Rose Marie Childs (Mills), her two daughters Amber Vanessa (Kamil) and Karly Marie (Shane), one grandchild Sofia Noelle, her brothers Brian (Mary), Terry (Lori), Dwayne, two sisters Candace Cole and Vanessa Coles (Alex), many colleagues and friends.
She enters heaven to be with her younger brother Dana. Cindy had a lust for life, a contagious smile and loved to have fun. She will be missed by many.
Her life will be celebrated through a mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 3141 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam on July 11th, 2023 at 11am. A reception will follow in the Church Hall.
