Obituary for David Lawrence Holloway
It is with great sadness; I share the sudden passing of my beautiful husband David (proud father to Kendall and Aaron). He loved his family more than life itself (and that was a lot) We are so blessed to have the time we did with him.
David had a passion for the water, biking, windsurfing, his BBQ/Smoker, skiing, travelling, (any Broadway show we took him too), raising a glass, and so much more. He brought such joy, laughter and kindness into every room, with his smile and love for life.
I know that each of you that met Dave, felt special and valued, and will always remember the way he left you feeling.
Dave is currently somewhere on a beach, its warm and sunny, he is wearing flip flops, a Hawaiian shirt and drinking a beer while listening to Jimmy Buffet. “It’s 5’oclock always now”
We will be having a celebration of life at a future date, when the covid restrictions allow for us to truly celebrate his life, the way he deserves. Please share a story or just comment with your name below, so when we book the Celebration, we don’t miss letting you know.

Our family is so grateful for the outpouring of love, friendship and support. Thank you for the kindness and generosity.
As a family and close friends, we have decided to delay our celebration of life until Spring, when we can have it the way it Dave would want it, no covid restrictions, lots of hugs, cheers (beers), stories and laughter (and there will be tears). I will update this page, facebook and key individuals who can spread the word, as soon as we have it booked
Our hope is that you continue to love the ones you are surrounded by, that you act on each opportunity to live and be kind to yourselves and those around you.
