Our beloved Debby passed away peacefully after a courageous three-year battle with Ovarian cancer. Debby is survived by her loving family: husband, John; daughters, Chiara and Cassia; mother Ederina; brother Brian (Jodie), nephews Alexander and Braedan; brother-in-law Jim, nieces Nicole and Heather, father-in-law Bill (Pops), Nana Mildred and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Debby was predeceased by her beloved papà, Aldo Giassi. In her life, Debby made friends so easily and she kept them all close. She will be dearly missed by Team Debby and everyone they represent. The Family would also like to extend special thanks to the medical staff at Royal Columbian Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, Crossroads Hospice and the Coquitlam Community Palliative team for their compassion and tremendous support of Debby throughout her journey. A private service for family only will take place on Friday, June 5. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Debby’s name to Ovarian Cancer Canada
