With great sadness, we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Gordon Dorland. Don was born in Vancouver and lived his entire life in Vancouver/Burnaby. He leaves behind to grieve his wife of 50 years, Karen; his son Michael Dorland (Joyce); his daughter Caryl Cosman (Jason); and four much‐beloved grandsons David Dorland, Adrian Cosman, Daniel Dorland and Brayden Cosman. Though Don was very tired after many years with health issues, he never quit. Right up to the last day, he fought to live life on his terms ‐ always with humor, and love, and with an indomitable desire to make others smile. Through his 69 years, Don added moments of gladness to countless lives ‐ known and unknown. By request, there will be no service, but donations to BC Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
