Elio Maddalozzo, Obituary
Elio (Al) Maddalozzo passed away peacefully at his home on March 3rd 2023 with his loving family at his side. He was 97 years old. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Olga Ann Maddalozzo (née Crema), his sister Lena Tesan (Leo), and brother Ernie (Bea). He is survived by his children John (Laura), Janice (Bill), Tom (Donna), Cathy (Bob) and Don (Gail), and his sister Ida Zilio. He was called Nonno by 14 grandchildren and Bis-Nonno by 22 great-grandchildren; they all loved him dearly and he returned the favour as only he could.
Al was a carpenter by trade and his gifts of woodworking brought great joy to the fortunate recipients. His hobbies included tomatoes, making and drinking wine, gardening, and family dinners. There was always a tree branch to be pruned and a roof to be climbed.
Celebration of Life Information
A celebration of life will be held at St Clare of Assisi Catholic Parish Hall, 2888 Delahaye Drive, Coquitlam, B.C. on June 10th 2023 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a food bank in your community.
