Evangeline (Eve) will be fondly remembered as the baby whisperer, she was gifted in caring for little ones, even babies were drawn to her sweet-natured spirit and calm manner. She and her dear friend Rose took care of the babies in the church nursery at Blue Mtn. Baptist for years. She was called Grandma Eve by many that were connected to her through the church. Eve was a talented individual, she could nurse houseplants back to good condition, she was a great baker as her cookies and cakes could be described as award winning quality. She was accomplished with handwork including knitting, crochet, needlework, and sewing. She was the seamstress that could make garment fitting adjustments as skilled as a professional tailor and sew clothing with the expertise of a creative costume designer. She will be remembered as a long-time member of the Edgewater Resort in Birch Bay Washington as she spent most of every summer there for 31 years. She traveled to Ontario, Florida, Hawaii, Oregon, California, cruised to Alaska, and she made many visits to Killarney Manitoba to visit family. She was dearly loved and will be remembered by her many friends at the Blue Mountain Ladies’ Group where she led a Bible Study until the age of 95.

A Memorial Service for The Celebration of Eve’s life will be held at Blue Mountain Church in Coquitlam on Saturday October 12, 2019 at 2:00 with a fellowship reception in the church following the service.

Special Thanks to the Blue Mountain Ladies’ Group who prayed for and sent words of encouragement to Eve.
