Obituary for Evelyn Christie
December 24, 1932 to December 14, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Evelyn, aka Mom, Grandma, Mama, GG, Mama Evelyn.
Evelyn was first a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She built special relationships with every one of us. She was blessed with many musical talents (piano, choral and band). She was a generous volunteer in her church and her French community. She had a great passion for reading and took much pride and care in her gardens.
Evelyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Mac, her parents, Clara and Philip, her two sisters, Irene and Pauline and her son-in-law, Larry. She leaves behind her six children, Judy, Dianne (Dave), Barbara, Don, Maxine (Remo), Johnny (Julie) and her twelve grandchildren, Kelly (Gary), Tony (Kellie), Lindsay (Randy), Tyrone (Heather), Kimberly (Mike), Carlo (Brittany), Luc, Rheanna (Justin), Derek, Kate, Ryan, Neil and her eleven great grandchildren, Christian (Tayla), Brett, Grady, Wyatt, Jaxson, Peyton, Jude, Maddie, Mila, Roman and petite Evelyn.
Donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Crossroads Hospice Society.
A funeral mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 20 at 821 Fairfax Street, Coquitlam.
