Obituary for Geoff Paul Macleod

Geoff Paul Macleod
Geoffrey Paul Macleod
April 26, 1975 ~ February 14, 2017

“Once more into the fray,
“Into the last good fight, I’ll ever know.”
“Live and die on this day”
“Live and die on this day”

Geoff was born on a spring day in April in North Vancouver to John and Glenys Macleod.

Geoff spent his school years growing up in North Delta. A fun loving and outgoing teen Geoff could often be found on the ice playing hockey, which he excelled at for several years.

Graduating from Seaquam Secondary School in 1993, Geoff had now developed into an exceptional young man. In October 1996 Geoff began his career at Air Canada where he also excelled and rose to become a Cargo Agent. Geoff worked for Air Canada for 19 years. In addition to this career Geoff was also an accomplished Mortgage Broker. Most recently, Geoff obtained his Class 1 drivers license with his Air Brake Endorsement and was beginning a new career with Greyhound Services Canada ~ Kelowna branch.

Geoff relocated to West Kelowna in 2015 with his common-law wife of 5 years, Dallus Marshall. Geoff is now survived by his two beautiful daughters Brooke and Taya, his common-law wife Dallus, and his two stepsons Tye and Kaedon.

Geoff is further survived by his loving parents John and Glenys Macleod and brother David.

In the early hours of February 14, 2017 unexpectedly Geoff passed away peacefully in his sleep at his parent house in New Westminster. He was surrounded by his loving wife Dallus, father John, mother Glenys and brother David at the time of his passing.

A beautiful private family service was held for Geoff at the Burquitlam Funeral Home on March 2, 2017.

Geoff was an extremely outgoing and fun loving man. His love and zest for life, his family and his friends was infectious and he always left a lasting impression on the many people who he touched throughout his life. If you were one of the fortunate people to have called Geoff family or friend, you are undoubtedly a better person from having had him in your life.

Everyone that knows Geoff has fond memories. There are so many great and funny stories told and untold. If you would like to share them please be so kind as to visit the Memories section of Geoff’s site to share your stories, memories and photos of Geoff.

A celebration of life for Geoff is being hosted by Dallus Marshall. Please join her on Thursday April 6, 2017 at Legends Pub for a Toast to the Life of Geoff Macleod. Legends Pub was Geoff and Dallus’ favourite place to hang out, so please join us at 5pm to closing. Legends is located at 9031 Blundell Rd, Richmond, V6Y 1K4 (on the corner of Blundell and Garden City).
