Life Story for Irma Sannchen Hartmann

MOM WAS BORN ON MAY 7 1931 IN LEIMEN,GERMANY TO GEORGE AND ANNA SCHAEFER.

SHE WAS YOUNGER SISTER TO WILLIE AND LATER ON, BIG SISTER TO ANITA. DURING THE WAR MOM WOULD PICK POTATOES AND DO ODD JOBS TO HELP MAKE A FEW MARKS TO HELP OUT. AFTER THE WAR SHE LEARNED TO BE A SEAMSTRESS. SHE MET OUR DAD AND LATER ON THEY CAME TO CANADA, GOT MARRIED AND MOVED FROM CITY TO CITY IN B.C. HAD US 3 KIDS ALONG THE WAY AND ENDED UP SETTLING IN VANCOUVER. MOM WAS A VERY HARD WORKER AND ALWAYS MADE SURE WE HAD FOOD ON THE TABLE, SHE WAS BASICALLY A SINGLE PARENT ALL OF OUR TEEN YEARS AND BEYOND. YEARS LATER SHE MET HARRY, THEY MOVED TO GIBSONS,BC AND AFTER A SHORT PERIOD RETIRED.

MANY YEARS LATER MOM STARTED SHOWING SIGNS OF DEMENTIA AND IN 2016 BECAME VERY SICK AFTER A FALL AND NEVER RECOVERED. SHE FOUGHT HARD UNTIL THE LAST DAY AND PASSED AWAY ON FEB.19 2019. SHE LEAVES BEHIND SONS BILL (LESLIE),FRED AND DAUGHTER CINDY, SISTER ANITA,GRANDSONS TYSON (NATALIE), BRADFORD (KYRI), 7 GREAT GRAND KIDS, AND MANY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS IN BOTH GERMANY AND CANADA.
