Obituary for Jaime Agao Banglayan

Jaime Agao Banglayan.
December 29, 1940 to December 7, 2018

Jaime, who was born in the small village of Fidelisan, Sagada, Mountain Province, Philippines passed away suddenly, yet peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital. His life was harder than most growing up in his small village, helping take care of his mom, and brothers, but he was determined to move to Canada and make a better life for himself. He was successful at doing this by his mid-30s and still supported his family in Sagada. He was able to help sponsor one of his brothers to join him in Canada. Jaime started his new life in Canada in the early 70s, in Winnipeg, MB. In 1989, he moved to Coquitlam, BC.

Jaime had a successful cleaning services company for many years. He is survived by his beloved daughters: Brenda (Ryan & Arianna Joy), and Joy (Daryl, James & Chelsea). He loved and cherished his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers Joseph & Peter. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 10AM. Followed by viewing & a short reception.
