It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister Jane Isobel Thomas Butts on Friday, September 9, 2022. Jane was born July 2, 1925 in Asbestos, Quebec. She was the eldest of five daughters born to Isabel Bollard and Elliseuss Thomas. Jane had an infectious smile, compassionate heart, and a great sense of humour. She was a strong woman both physically and mentally. Her positive attitude and strong spirit kept her going for 97 years. Jane was a true gift to her family and those who knew her. Jane predeceased by her parents, husband Thomas (2003), sisters Lillian and Gwenyth. She is survived by her children Jane (Terry), Thomas, Pamela, Valerie (Murray), Daphnee (Paul) and Bethan. Grandchildren, Grant, Alexandra, Benjamin, Aleksndr, Emma and Melody. Great grandchildren Ryder, Madison, Ira and Oskar. Also sisters Gladys and Anne as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, England and Wales. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 30 at 10:30 am at All Saints Parish Centre, Coquitlam , BC.
