Obituary for Jenny Roche
In her 90th year, Jenny Roche, formerly of New Westminster, gently left this world with a peaceful smile on her face and her daughter at her feet.
Originally from the Philippines and a graduate of the Southwestern University Nursing program, Jenny worked as a nurse at the Manilla Doctors Hospital, Mayo Clinic and St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, the Port Alice Medical Clinic on Vancouver Island and, the Prince George Regional Hospital before retiring from St. Mary's Hospital in New Westminster.
When not caring for those around her, Jenny was sewing, crocheting, baking, cooking or shopping for them. Independent, generous, and caring she was loved by all. Whether dancing, singing, playing the piano or eating, Jenny always loved a party with her friends. She will be especially remembered for her work ethic, beautiful sense of style, creativity, and love of music, flowers and birds.
Survived by her daughter Arlene (Scott), grandson Gabe, and sister Joy. Nanay was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
