Obituary for Jose Larry Chung
Jose Larry Chung, 93, of Burnaby, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2020, surrounded by his wife and 5 children.
He was born to parents Mateo Revilla Chong and Shee Ah Ho Lee, on October 14, 1926, in Manila, Philippines.
Larry, as he was more known by, was an incredibly loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, friend and a well-respected and honourable man. His career as an accountant, displayed his high integrity and a work ethic that was seldom matched. He lived a full and wonderful life and cherished everything he was blessed with, including his wife of 64 years, his five children and their families. More importantly, his life was enriched because he was present in the lives of all his grandchildren.
Larry lived a full life. He loved and was loved back. A life many can only hope and dream of.
Due to the current pandemic, a private service is being held to celebrate his life. The family has truly been overwhelmed with the love and thoughtfulness of friends and families. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the B.C. Lung Association.
