Obituary for Josephine Ann Thomson (Colby)
March 1935 - December 2019
Jospehine passed away peacefully at Buchanan Lodge in New Westminister B.C.
surrounded by the love of family, friends, and the wonderful, caring staff at
Buchanan Lodge. Predeceased by husband Bill Thomson in 1995, and Mother Nancy
Colby in 1989. Survived by children, Chris (Evelyn) Thomson, Laura (Darren) Hoff,
and Jim (Tracey) Thomson. She was the proud grandmother of Clint, Brett, and
Danica.
Josie had a long career with CIBC. Josie loved to travel and her passion for adventure
led her all over the world. She was an eternal optimist and always fought to see the positive side of all that
came her way. We’ll miss her sense of humour and sage advice and are comforted by
beautiful memories.
A memorial will be held at Buchanan Lodge, 409 Blair Ave. New Westminster B.C on
January, 10th at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salvation Army Buchanan Lodge or
Royal Columbian Hospital.
