Obituary for Kyle Franklin McCoy

It is with unimaginable heart break and sadness we regretfully announce the unexpected passing of Kyle Franklin McCoy at the age of 26 on January 27, 2023. (Coquitlam British Columbia). Predeceased by his Grandmother Edna McCoy, Grandfather Franklin McCoy, his other beloved Grandmother Fae Millick, and his cousin Michael Millick.

Survived and deeply missed by are his parents Bill and Teresa McCoy, and his younger sister Rachel McCoy along with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Though his time here was short, Kyle accomplished much more beyond his young years for which we all will forever be proud and grateful for. After graduating from Riverside Secondary School Kyle headed off to BCIT to become a certified Red Seal plumber. Having completed the program with honours he went right to work and eventually landed a job with Lisi plumbing. Kyle was always a perfectionist, a dedicated hardworking man, and he took great pride in his work. Kyle was always quick to show you photographs and videos of the jobs he was working on, or the jobs he completed. Kyle excelled as an athlete in high school but he mostly enjoyed going to the gym where he would always have his strict routine and schedule where he rarely missed a day. With his infectious smile and laugh and his sideways grin you always could count on Kyle to listen to you, and if you had any questions you wanted to ask him you could always count on solid honest advise. Kyle had his special best friends - his “two Ryan’s” and Adam that he kept close, and Kyle cherished their friendships right up until the end.

Rest in peace to the wonderful Kyle, until we meet again. A special thank you to the little Angel Faith for always putting the smile back on Kyle’s face and being there for him.

Loving and missing you until we meet again,

Mom, Dad, and Rachel.
