Obituary for Lena Louise Turner

Mrs Lena Louise Turner, daughter of the late Aime Caissie and Salomee Caissie was born July 17th, 1921 in Scoudouc New Bruncswick.

She was united in holy matrimony to Arthur Turner in 1956. This union was blessed with 4 children. Arthur preceded her in death on December 21st 1964.

Lena was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, involved in Catholic Women’s League, Legion of Mary, a lay member of the Franciscans and an Honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. As a result of her generous spirit and infectious joy, she was loved by many. Her service, humility and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Friday, July 10th, 2020 in the comfort of her own bed in Maple Ridge B.C.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of 4 her children: Gregory Turner, Linda McGeown, Louise Fader and Mary Daniels. 9 grandchildren including Michelle Fader who preceded her to eternal life February 16th 1997. Darcy Daniels, Paul McGeown, Aimee Christensen, Christopher Fader, Kate McGeown, Celina Fader, Luke Turner, Claire Turner. 7 great grandchildren: Madeline McGeown, Colton Christensen, Hunter Christensen, Matilda McGeown, Davin Daniels, Olivia Christensen, Eleanor Fader and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who knew her as Gramma Lena.
