Obituary for Leonard Paul Dumka

Dumka, Leonard Paul born in Yorkton Saskatchewan on June 24, 1933, suddenly passed away at home on December 4, 2022 at the age of 89. Predeceased by Mother Ann, Father Henry, and brothers Walter and Lawrence. Loved and missed by brothers Donald (Verna), Robert, sister Marie, daughter Patricia (Chris) and grandchildren Caleb and Grace.

Len worked for the district of Squamish for over 25 years. He was a friendly and helpful person to all who came in contact with him at the rink. After his retirement he became involved in community sports events, volunteering, curling and gardening. He also enjoyed meeting the "guys" for coffee downtown on a regular basis. Len was also a master at making burl clocks, as well as fixing, repairing and building almost anything.

Len cherished his time with his daughter and family. He especially loved being a grandpa to Caleb and Grace and watching them in their sports and dancing.

Len was a loving, caring, helpful and fun dad. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Patricia.
