May (Maria) McDermott passed peacefully at the age of 94 on September 23, 2023. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters Lynda, Carolyn, Gloria(Rene), Her grandchildren, Heather (Chris),
Shawna(Dan), Steven, Tony, Brandon and great-grandchildren Samantha, Riley, Austin, Sequoia, Christian, and also numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff at Cartier Care Home especially the 3rd floor staff who showed such care and compassion to her and her family for her entire stay. As you know she loved you and she knew that you loved her too.

Also would like to send a special thanks to Vidya Sharma who contacted and arranged the prayer circle, Pastor
Aurel Mateescu, Joel and Tammy Cameron who sang and read a special scripture at Mom’s bedside and continue to keep us in their prayers.

Memorial service will be held at Southside Baptist Church, 2211 Pitt River Rd in Port Coquitlam at 11am on
October 12,2023. Internment will be held at 1 pm for family at the Port Coquitlam Cemetery.
