Robert (Bob) Hartfiel

Bob passed away suddenly on January 23, 2022 at the age of 54 in his home, due to complications from COVID.
Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished.
Bob is survived and sorely missed by his loving wife, Yvonne (Holm), his two sons Stephen and Jordan, and his younger sister Jackie, who he was very close with. Bob will also be missed by Yvonne’s parents, Harvey and Sue Holm and by his sister-in-law Sonya and husband Mike. Bob is predeceased by his father Arnold and mother Shirley.
Bob was born in Burnaby in 1967. He started working for BC Bearings (Motion Industries) in his early twenties. It was also at this age where he met his loving wife, they soon married and started a family. Bob progressed into management, where he was a natural leader and great co-worker to many for over 30 plus years, creating long-lasting friendships along the way.
All his life, Bob was huge fan of sports and music. Later in life, Bob discovered a passion for travel, which included many family trips, often combining these vacations with his love for sports, music and great friends.
His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by countless family and friends.
In a good life, full of love, death will always come too soon.
A celebration of life is planned for June 2022. There will be more details posted to this space as they become confirmed
