Obituary for Robynn Candace Edna Frame (McNab)

Robynn Candace Edna Frame nee McNab, born September 8, 1968 in Saskatoon SK.
Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 7, 2020 at the age of 51.
Predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Lawrence.

Missed, loved and never forgotten by Mum & Dad, Sister, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless friends.

Robynn lived in Chilliwack, graduated from CSSS in 1988, lived in Germany, traveled Europe and moved to Vancouver in 1994 with her family. She married Lawrence in 1996. They had been married 20 years. They lived in Surrey together until Lawrence passed away and she continued to live there until her passing.

In Robynn’s younger years she belonged to the Spartan Swim Club, was in Baton, and was a member of the school band, where she played flute and sax. Her love of music started with singing harmony with her Dad which she loved so much. It carried on through her life and became her biggest passion. A few mentions are Corey Hart concerts, DJing, countless hours of karaoke….and simply singing and dancing at any chance she could. She loved a good party and wanted everyone to have the best time!

She worked at 24 and Metro where she enjoyed making everyone’s day with her big smile and many laughs. She was a member of the Lions Club, regularly attended her Elders Group and was an avid volunteer for the Variety of Hearts, Salvation Army, the Caribbean Fest, LGBTQ, the Cancer Foundation and the Vancouver Neighbourhood House. She was the most kind and giving person. She had a special place in her heart for kids too! While Robynn didn’t have children, she had her nephews, Donavon, Marcus, Tyson and Dog Java Beans who she treated as her own and loved so dearly.

Being a die-hard Harry Potter fan, 80’s sitcoms fan and every music genre fan….you could turn to her with any questions as she knew all the scenes, lyrics, chords and more. Robynn also spoke a few languages and made it her goal to tell anyone in their own language, hello and goodbye! She had 3 dreams unfulfilled: having a dog of her own, swimming with dolphins and going to the ELLEN Show! We will make those happen, in Robynn’s name!

She lived through endless bullying and discrimination for most of her life, which brought her great pain, but she found peace and comfort in reading and listening to the Bible nightly, as it was God who carried her through life. She was accepting of everyone and was always there if you needed. She was a strong woman with a beautiful soul and you just couldn’t keep her down, showing us all how much she loved life, family and God.
Stand up against bullying and “BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER” (Ellen)

Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday July 21st at 527 Ebert Ave, Coquitlam BC, V3J 2L1 at 1:00pm
