So sorry to hear the news of Ruth's passing. Our paths crossed at Eagle Ridge Hospital where she volunteered at the Manor and I was with the Auxiliary. Ruth and Ernie were neighbours at Camelot first with my Mom, Clara Baker, and later when my daughter Bobbi and I lived at Camelot. They were both lovely people. My condolences to your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Ruth's passing. She was a lovely lady, a wonderfully kind Manor volunteer and I loved when she strolled or rolled by my door on a daily basis.....that was one of the highlights of my day having a little chat with her. My deepest condolences to the family. Carmen Bressanutti

To Our Beautiful Mother in December 2018

I remember so many things about you growing up..
Your dry, witty sense of humor
The way you made Christmas special with the beautiful
decorated tree and the Christmas suppers
The way you made church a part of our lives
The way you made camping and outdoor activities a part of our lives
You made going to the beach special
The way you raised us to have a moral compass
The way you helped your children raise your grandchildren
The way you helped your children and grandchildren explore parts of the world
You taught us to love animals and be kind to them
Your Easter chocolates
The way you made moving to the prairies an exciting adventure
Your homemade soup, party pinwheel and shepherd’s pie
Your belonging to the UCW and being a Sunday School teacher
Your working at the Colwood library
Your volunteer activities including being a Brown Owl, Tawney Owl, and Snowy Owl
Your introducing us to cross country skiing
Your out walking your adult daughters on hikes
Your being a good grandmother and GiGi
For always providing great birthday parties when we were kids and never forgetting our birthdays as adults
Thank you for being our mother!

To my wonderful Aunt, whom I always enjoyed chatting with; thank you for being part of my world. You brought thought, compassion, kindness & love into my world; and I thank you for that. Your daughters have taken on your tradition of reaching out with such kindness towards me and Uncle Gordon's family. You are the last to leave us and now you will join, Edith, Alice, Nora & Gordon. I know they have already greeted you with love & togetherness, as you all, now, watch over us all.
Love Sally
