Obituary for Ruth Collier
Our beautiful mother Ruth passed away in the early morning of June 21, 2019 at the age of 90. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2014 as well as her parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughters Maureen(Bruce) Patricia(Rik) Alyce(Jerry) as well as grandchildren Diana(Brian) Sara(Dave) Erin(Adam) Jordan(Jessica) and her great grandchildren Lucy Aidan Lucas Ethan Bryce and Logan.
Mom was the center of our family helping her daughters raise her grandchildren. She worked in a number of jobs over the years mostly in executive secretary positions. She was a very organized person. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends as well as by the staff at the Eagle Ridge Manor. Thank you to the staff for the loving care of our mother.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at 10:00 am at Burquitlam Funeral Home, located at 625 North Road, in Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
