Obituary for Vuga Evelyn Mawa
Vuga Mawa was born on November 2, 1961 in Moyo Madi district, Uganda to Paskwalino Draole Vuga and Anzoa Leticia. He sadly passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020 in Port Coquitlam.
He is survived by 6 children David, Salomi, Christine, Stephen, Christopher and Jennifer.
Vuga was known as social man with a big heart. Willing to talk to anyone and help everyone. The late Vuga Mawa was an intelligent man with a career in education and accounting. As young scholar he pursued his education in teaching. He had a great group of friends and family in Sudan, Egypt and Canada.
Vuga Mawa continued to always stay sharp in practicing his skills in education. Vuga loved Acholi, country and reggae music. Additionally Vuga loved old classic country movies or the history channel and religion.
Vuga was loved by many friends, family and his kids.
To honour our dad the late Vuga Mawa and celebrate his memorial it will be on Wednesday February 12, 2020.
9am - 10am will be the viewing to pay respects to him at Burquitlam Funeral Home, North Road, Coquitlam, BC
10am- 11am Service at Burquitlam Funeral Home, North Road, Coquitlam, BC
12pm the burial in Surrey Centre Cemetery 16671 Old McLellan Road Surrey B.C.
2pm-5pm Reception with family friends well wishers at the First Free Methodist Community Church, 320 8th St, New Westminster, BC V3M 3R4
