Obituary for Mike Boyes
Mike passed away peacefully after battling cancer. Predeceased by father Elmer, mother Joy, and daughter Crystal. Loved and missed by wife Charline, son Jagger (Tanner), brothers Pat and Brian, and many friends.
Mike earned his degree in forestry at BCIT, and worked in the industry for many years. Mike volunteered in 1983 for Edmonds Soccer and Burnaby Lougheed Baseball clubs coaching, managing, refereeing, umpiring for 20 years. Mike coached the 1994 BC Triple A Midget Baseball team winning a Bronze medal at National level.
Service will be held April 25, 2019 @ 2:00 pm at Burquitlam Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Cancer Foundation.
