Obituary for William Anton "Will" Wilson

It is with great sadness that the family of William Anton Wilson announces that Will passed away suddenly but peacefully on May 22, 2020, at the age of 62. William was born on March 30, 1958, in Ely, England, the eldest child to Anthony and Ruth Wilson.

William is survived by the Love of his Life, Robin, their four amazing children Mikaela (Tim), Darion (Erin), Nikolas (Sam), and Kira (Mohammad), and his grandchildren Lexi and Clayton. He will also be greatly missed by his father, his mother, and his siblings Alex, Donna, and Elias.

William was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved and truly appreciated the uniqueness of each of his children and deeply respected them for the individual adults they had become. He was an absolute wealth of knowledge; the kids never needed Google, they just went to their Dad. When Clayton asked, "Oh, but why?" Grampy always had the answer, in great detail!

With a new project always on the go, Will was constantly initiating conversations with new people to learn new skills. Whether in person or online, people of all ages, from all over the world, would warm to his charming, charismatic, and gentle nature. He really was larger than life and his laughter and light will always be remembered.

William touched the lives of many throughout his endeavors, but the most profound achievement in his life was the love he felt for his lovely wife Robin. She was his whole life and he loved her madly, never wanting to go anywhere without her.

Taken too soon, the memory of William is etched in our hearts. He is greatly loved and will always be missed but never forgotten.

A gathering of friends and family at our home will be held later this summer. When available, details will be posted here and on Will's LinkedIn page. Everyone who wants to attend will be welcome.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in William's name.
