It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Alistair died in his sleep on 27th September, 2013 after a long struggle with cancer. Missing him greatly are his wife Jean, sons Graham (Tina) and Craig (Lisa); grandchildren Cloe, Mya and Alex; and extended family and friends in Canada and Scotland.
Alistair was a Master Mariner and lived most of his life involved with the sea. He loved to work with wood and putter around in his garage. He loved watching Manchester United play as well as his British TV shows. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alistair’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
