Anita Funa Alojado, age 96, passed away peacefully January 18, 2020. She was born on November 25, 1923 in Dumalag, Capiz, Philippines.
Anita loved to love people. She has a very strong faith, loved going to church to praise and worship her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Anita came to Canada in 1983 along with her youngest child Teresita. She worked as a nanny. Anita loved gardening, makeup and working in her Piggery Business in the Philippines.
Her life was a loving example of her favorite bible verse, Ephesians 5.20 - "Giving thanks always for all things on to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
She is survived by her 3 sons Melanio, Romel, Danilo and her two daughters Nimfa and Tesesita. All of who Anita loved and touched deeply.
Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Glad Tidings Church, 3456 Fraser Street in Vancouver, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Final viewing will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road in Coquitlam, from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Burial will follow at the Port Coquitlam Cemetery, 4150 Oxford Street, Port Coquitlam, at 1:30pm.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glad Tidings Church.
