Anne Florence Kellett

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Anne Florence Kellett (nee Lewry), who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the remarkable age of 101.

Born in Toronto on September 15, 1923, Anne lived a life defined by strength, grace, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. A witness to more than a century of change, she remained a steady and loving presence in the lives of those around her—always ready with a kind word, a warm hug, and an endless supply of patience.

She was the heart of our family, anchoring generations with love and wisdom. Her door was always open, her kettle always on, and her knitting needles rarely still. Whether she was gently guiding her children, cuddling a grandchild, Anne gave of herself completely—with humour, compassion, and steadfast faith.

She leaves behind a legacy stitched into the hearts of all who knew her: her children Judith (Maurice), Donald (Susan), Peter (Teresa), and Elizabeth (Byron), grandchildren Stéphane (Jennifer), Mélanie-Anne (Louis-Philippe), Alexandra (Jonathan), Janna, Amanda (Filippo), Sean (Jennifer), Dawn (Ramón), Ryan, and Lauren and great-grandchildren Macha, Magalie, Harrison, Christopher, Liam, Elliott, Myriam, Brynn, Rafa and Lara, many nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friends, and a lifetime of cherished memories.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Nellie, her siblings Nellie and Richard, her daughter-in-law Pam, and her husband of 54 years, Ivor.

We will remember her for her resilience, her laughter and her enduring warmth. We give thanks for her life and for the privilege of loving and being loved by her. We would like to thank the staff of the Madison Care Centre for their care and support during the last year of her life.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 1:30pm at St. Laurence Anglican Church, Coquitlam, BC (the service will be live streamed at https://www.saintlaurence.ca/ or available later at St Laurence streams ) with a reception to follow. All who knew and loved Anne are welcome to attend and celebrate a truly beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, in honour of Anne’s memory and her spirit of giving.
