Anthony Chu

Anthony (Tony) Min Fook Chu passed away comfortably at 4 pm on July 8, 2013. He is at peace after exerting tremendous will to rebound repeatedly from unexpected health complications over the past few weeks, whilst pancreatic cancer took its toll in the background. Anthony was born on July 13, 1941 in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. In 1966, he married his wife, Lily and moved with his parents, wife and siblings to Montreal, Canada. Anthony's career spanned decades in fields of telecommunications and electronics. He and his family lived in Calgary from 1983 to 1986 and then settled in the Vancouver area in 1986. Anthony is survived by his wife Lily, daughter Stephanie (Mike), and grandson, Kenji. He was predeceased by his father Mr. Martin Chu and brother John. Anthony will be missed his mother, Mrs. Thin Yun Chu, his sisters Nancy (Dan), Rosy (Joe), Alice (Eric) as well as many treasured family members and friends.
