Barbara Fraser

July 24, 1934 — November 26, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Fraser at Langley Gardens Care Home. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Wesley Fraser. Barbara is survived by her children: Rick (Carol), Dave (Sylvia), Chris (Min), Laurel (Ed Seitz); her grandchildren: James, Daniel, Casi, Alexei, Matthew, Michael, Emily, Jacqueline, Lesley, and by her sister, Mary Ellen. Barbara is also predeceased by her brother, Murray, and her sister, Joan. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Barbara was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan and grew up in Sapperton, B.C. She married her sweetheart, Wesley, in 1954. She worked at New Westminster Cannery, Kelly Douglas, and in the sewing machine and fabric department at The Bay in Lougheed Mall. The highlight of her career was working as the Manager of Pfaff Sewing Center for twenty years.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Langley Gardens Care Home for their kind compassion and care. The family would also like to thank Father Nixon from St. Nicholas Parish for giving Barbara her last rites.

The service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, December 2nd, at Burquitlam Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of choice.
