Betty Laird Percy

Betty Laird Percy passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Born in Vancouver on February 24, 1927 to Annie Bessie and William Henry Paddon, she was the eldest of two children and had a younger brother, Bill.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children, John (Heather), and Robin (Ross), and by her five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim Percy, with whom she shared a long marriage, as well as her parents and her brother.

A memorial service will be held in Comox, with details to be announced at a later date. A more detailed tribute to Betty’s life will be shared once service information becomes available.
