It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great
grandmother. Mom passed peacefully at home in Port Moody on May 05.
Bev was pre-deceased by her husband Paul, son Steven (Regina), sister Shirley (Roman) and brother Ken
(Linda).
She is survived by her daughter, Diane, grandchildren, Chris (Krista) and Angela (Rick) and great
granddaughter, Lily. As well by her nieces and nephews, and Godson, Brad (Janean) of Arizona.
Special thank you to niece, Beth (Kevin) for the love and care she provided over the last few years. She
loved you like a daughter.
Born and raised in Vancouver, she moved to Port Moody in 1995. Married in 1955, she was a widow 6
years later at 28, with 2 small children. As a single mother raising her children alone, she showed
strength, love and determination at every turn.
She was a member of I.O.D.E since the age of 19 and loved meeting up with her life-long friends.
After building a second family home in Sechelt, she loved to call it her “Home away from home”.
The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the kind and compassionate support from
Fraser Health Palliative care team in Port Moody who helped care for her in her final days.
A C.O.L will be held on June 25 th at Diane’s from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Please reach out for the address.
