Donna Marion Thomson

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Donna Thomson on August 17, 2026. Donna grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her father and her grandparents {The Sweets} and shared many fond memories of summers spent on the farm with her grandparents and cousins {The Elliots} in rural Manitoba. She then relocated to Vancouver, B.C., settling in North Burnaby, with her husband and young children. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed golfing and spending time with her grandchildren. Donna was a stay-at-home Mom for 12 years then started working as a teacher’s assistant in Burnaby, B.C. where she worked for several years before retiring. She is predeceased by her husband Herb and grandson Kirk. She will be sorely missed by her son Mark, daughter Janine, grandchildren Ashley and Alec, daughter-in-law Alyson and son-in-law Colin.
