Francesca Plaster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francesca Maria Plaster at Crossroads Hospice, Port Moody on May 6, 2017 with her husband, Richard Plaster, at her side. Francesca was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Prior to commencing treatment, Francesca devoted much of her time to running Myeloma Vancouver, a support group for patients and families affected by Multiple Myeloma and to fundraising for the VGH/UBC Foundation for Multiple Myeloma research.

Born February 17, 1956 in Edmonton, she was 61 years of age. Francesca was predeceased by her parents, Gemma and Emilio Veltri of Edmonton and her brother Paul. She is survived by her brother Robert and sisters Dina, Emilia, Thersina and Alesandra.

Services will be held at Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, Coquitlam. Evening prayers to be held on Monday, May 15th at 6:30 pm with the funeral being held on Tuesday morning, May 16th at 11:00.
