BRESLIN, Frank: exchanged time and space for eternity on January 1, 2013. He was 76. Born in Stevenston, Ayrshire, Scotland immigrating to Canada in 1964 (becoming a Canadian citizen). As a young man, Frank served his country with the Scottish Fusiliers. Predeceased by his parents: Peter and Elizabeth (Cambridge) and his sister Philomena. He will be greatly missed by family in Scotland: his son, Peter (Shirley) and daughter Sharon (Bob) and their children and grandchildren; his surviving siblings Anne, Arthur, Peter, Liz and Mary Theresa, nieces and nephews; as well as the extended families of Theresa O’Rourke and John Cambridge. Frank will be missed the most by his loving wife of 25 years, Mary Catherine and the Nelson families Dan (Cathy), Jeff (Leah), Dianne (Doug) and Marguerite (Larry). Much loved by his many close friends and golfing acquaintances. Frank was a friend of Bill W. for 35 years and helped many others tremendously. Mass and Christian burial will take place at the Good Shepherd Church, Jan. 10th. @ 1:00 pm. A "Celebration of Life" will be held later in the spring as a casual get-together for friends and family to remember him. All are welcome.
