April 25, 1939 - January 5, 2013
After a lengthy battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Gerry passed peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Gerry is survived by his loving wife, Diana (McLaren), his daughters Carrie Norman (Dan), Darcy and Jenna, his son, David (Karen), his brother Jim (Edna), sister Ann and sister Marie Satchell (Barrie), his Uncle Jack Bradley, his grandsons, Kevin and Mick Bey and Jack and Charlie Norman, his nephews, Chris and Danny, and niece, Jackie Satchell, as well as many other loving family members and great friends. Gerry was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, nephew and friend. He was a kind, gentle and loving man with a love for life, a generous heart and a terrific sense of humour. His passions were travelling, golf, riding his motorcycle, baseball and listening to his Blues. A Celebration of Gerry's Life will be held on June 24, 2013 at the Fort Langley Golf Club.
