SEPTEMBER 1924 - APRIL 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace peacefully away at Dufferin Care Centre on April 24th. 2014 at the age of 90.
Grace was born in Toronto, Ontario. In the 1940's, she married and moved to Bellevue, Ontario, where she had her four children by her first marriage. They are: Marilyn, living in Lunenberg, Mark now in Ottawa, Brenda & Elizabeth (Betsy) both predeceased. She leaves behind her loving husband Ron, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews across Canada and the U.S.
Grace suffered from Neural Motor Tremors most of her adult life and even though she pursued painting and story writing in Burnaby and Coquitlam. We thank the staff and doctors at Eagle Ridge Hospital and Dufferin Care Centre for their care and compassion for Grace during her stay. They were great!
A Celebration of Grace's life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 @ 2pm at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam BC. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Grace's name.
